The M-Range extendable gearboxes from Alfa Gears are specifically designed for manual operation in demanding environments.
Not intended for motorised use, but built to excel where mechanical reliability truly matters.

With a robust ductile cast iron GGG40 housing and a fully sealed IP68 enclosure, the M-Range is perfectly suited for underground installations and harsh operating conditions.

Fully compatible with the ALFA insert system and designed to work seamlessly with worm shaft extension systems, this range ensures flexibility, durability, and straightforward installation in the field.

Available in 11 sizes, delivering torque up to 32,000 Nm, the M-Range proves that traditional, well-engineered manual gearboxes are still the most dependable choice below ground.

General technical information

Alfa-Series quarter-turn worm gearboxes are applied to ball valves, butterfly valves, dampers and other 90° rotary valves. Alfa Gears hand wheels are with a variety models for optimal operation.
Alfa Gears quarter-turn Worm gearboxes are with good mechanical quality and steady operating performance which apply to deal with variety climate and temperature. We strive to develop Alfa Gears valve gear operators to meet higher demands in the market.
  • Enclosure: IP67 Standard (IP68 on request)
  • Working Temperature: From -50°C to 150°C (-4°Fto248°F)
  • Painting: Black RAL 9005, or according customer specification
